A WORD FROM THE PRESIDENT
Gérard Maheu, Inc. is a business with some 50 employees who work in its Canadian and American feed mills. The Company had humble beginnings and over the years has evolved significantly to become a leader in its industry, known in Southwestern Quebec and beyond the border for the quality of its products and services.
The Company has indeed grown considerably since inception in order to adapt to the ever-changing farming and agricultural environment and to remain at the forefront of the latest trends and technologies in the industry. However, there are two aspects of our corporate philosophy that still hold true today: Gérard Maheu Inc. works tirelessly to offer superior customer service thanks to its team of employees who are devoted to their trade and the Company. These two factors contribute largely to the success of our family-owned feed mill business since 1943 and we will, without a doubt, continue to rely on our team, who is both competent and professional, to offer superior customer service to all our clients with the goal of maximizing their satisfaction.

History
Gérard Maheu Inc. is a family story focused on customer service for more than 75 years. The Company was founded in 1943 by Gérard Maheu with the support of his wife, Jeanne Trépanier. Today, two of their children and two of their grandsons are involved the family business.
1943
It was April 1st 1943 when Gérard Maheu bought from his cousin Eugène Faubert the feed mill that was located at the Landreville corner in Saint-Louis-de-Gonzague, Québec.
At this time, he was offering grain milling services to local farmers.
On August 7th of the same year, Mr. Maheu was married to Jeanne Trépanier.
